This highly innovative and interactive session will reveal how some competencies and attributes of great leaders are actually liabilities in their role as a coach.
You will learn:

- The research on the preferred coaching style of people being coached
- Actions you can take to enhance your coaching capability now
A variety of learning methodologies such as self-assessment tools, team exercises, discussions and impactful action planning will give you an opportunity to raise the bar on your current coaching skills.
Finding the Event
The two office towers at 50 and 90 Burnhamthorpe Road share a common underground visitor parking lot that is NOT accessible via Burnhamthorpe Road.
Enter the visitor parking under 90 Burnhamthorpe Road from behind the building via Enfield Place. Take the 50 Burnhamthorpe Road elevator to the 6th floor.
Heather Angel is the Practice Leader, Talent Management and Leadership Development for Stratford Managers.
With over 25 years of experience in multiple industries growing leadership capability, Heather is acknowledged as a subject matter expert in leadership development and coaching. Heather has coached CEOs and their teams to mobilize their talent and optimize the execution of their business strategy.
An ICF certified leadership coach, Heather helps senior talent enhance their ability to inspire followership and works one on one to help leaders obtain the work success they have always envisioned.
Previously Heather held executive leadership positions in human resources with Golder & Associates, an environmental engineering consulting firm; the Canadian Diabetes Association, one of the largest health care charities in Canada dedicated to the research and treatment of diabetes; Mylan Pharmaceuticals Inc., a generic drug manufacturer and Monsanto Canada, a life science company.
Heather also served for six years on the Board of Governors of Sheridan College where she held multiple leadership positions. She is currently a member of the board of directors of Oakville Hydro and a member of the Human Resources Committee of the board.
