This research driven, interactive session will focus on the inaugural list of “Best Workplaces in Canada for Learning and Development” published by Great Place to Work® Institute in the summer, 2017. Based on systematic surveys of employee perceptions and experience and structured assessments of organizational learning and development practices, this unique national list is aimed at recognizing Canada’s leaders in learning and development from across a diverse spectrum of hundreds of small, medium and large Canadian based organizations participating in the program. Session attendees will learn about Canada’s leaders in learning and development including the most innovative and distinctive facets of their cultures, strategies, programs and practices for accelerating and sustaining continuous learning and development leading to their achieving this unique standard of excellence in Canada. Research highlights and best practices will be highlighted and discussed in a dynamic and interactive process to enhance session participants’ learning experience.

Dr. Ron Grey is an organizational psychologist whose doctorate is from Temple University in Philadelphia.  As Senior Vice President with Great Place to Work® Institute, Ron oversees the Canadian firm’s consulting and advanced analytics services to support clients in accelerating and sustaining the business benefits of more engaged workforces and outstanding workplaces.

Ron has over 35 years of experience as a business leader, consultant and research professional in North America and internationally.  He has led the global research practice and Canadian operations of a major international HR consultancy, a national survey research firm, an executive leadership development institute, and the Canadian strategy & organizational consulting practices for two leading international management consultancies.

Ron’s expertise and experience span organizational culture, employee engagement, talent management, leadership development, strategy & organization, and change management.
