CCCE Virtual Event - Leading a Learning Culture

We live in a time of massive, constant change. That's true both at the company and the individual level. Companies deal with the threat of disruption by nimble startups built around new technologies and quickly changing economic and political situations. Individuals deal with rapid changes to the skillsets and tools they need to have mastered as the nature of work changes. This session will address ways in which leaders at all levels can instill learning practices and mindsets into the fabric of organizational culture and the employee experience.

Speaker Biography

Randal Vegter is Skillsoft's VP of Talent Enablement & Culture, working with our leadership to unleash the talent of our employees. This includes leading our OKR, performance management, training, DEI, and culture initiatives.

Randal is an HR and Talent veteran of 17 years, helping establish JetBlue University in the company's early days before tackling the Talent challenges for fast-growing startups LePort Montessori, NewsCred, and Codecademy. Along the way, he has tripled the size of companies, raised rounds of funding, conducted layoffs, navigated mergers, and most importantly coached hundreds of leaders he is incredibly proud of. Randal considers his leadership touchstones High Output Management, design thinking, and servant leadership.
