In 2019 Loblaw Companies launched a new technology driven onboarding program for its frontline colleagues. It is a custom built, mobile learning solution designed  to be completed Anytime, Anywhere and on Any Device. With a young workforce who is technology savvy and eager to access learning in the moment of need, this solution meets their needs by combining must-know knowledge with elements of gamification and hands-on  practice.

In this interactive presentation Irina will share Loblaws key takeaways and lessons learned.

Speaker Biography

Irina McQuade started her career at Loblaw as a front line colleague where she learned the importance of customer service and found her passion for training. During her career, she has implemented many digital ‘firsts’ at Loblaw and she continues to strive toward innovation and agility in learning solutions that are meaningful, learner centric, deliver value to the organization and are scalable for Canada’s largest private  sector employer.
